Anti-Corrosion Sanitary 316L Stainless Steel Pipe, Insulation and cooling for Outdoor Water Supply
Outdoor anti-corrosion stainless steel pipes generally use 304 and 316L grades, with 316L preferred in coastal or heavily polluted environments.
The reason for choosing 304 or 316L stainless steel is that they contain more than 10.5% chromium, which forms a dense oxide film on the surface, preventing oxygen from contacting the base metal and thus providing corrosion protection. 316L also contains 2%-3% molybdenum, further improving resistance to chlorides (such as salt in seawater) and acidic media.
Outdoor anti-corrosion stainless steel pipes offer the following advantages:
1. Strong corrosion resistance: Not easy to rust in air, soil, and humid environments, especially suitable for coastal and heavily polluted industrial areas
2. Long service life: Can last 50-70+ years under normal use, matching the life of the building structure, reducing replacement and maintenance costs
3. High strength: Tensile strength approximately twice that of galvanized steel pipe, allowing thinner wall thickness and lower cost
4. Hygienic and eco-friendly: Smooth surface resists bacterial growth, does not leach harmful substances, and is 100% recyclable
5. Aesthetic and easy to maintain: Metallic luster enhances architectural appearance; daily wiping keeps it bright
